Started food journey with Desi Cooks
Desi Cooks began its journey with 3 restaurants in Chandigarh, focused on delivering quality food, great taste, and customer satisfaction.
Expansion to Ludhiana
Desi Cooks expanded with 2 new restaurants in Ludhiana, strengthening its expertise in customer preferences, operations, and food consistency.

2018
Entered more North Indian markets
Desi Cooks expanded by opening 4 new restaurants, 2 in Delhi, 1 in Jalandhar, and 1 in Amritsar, taking its total count to 9 restaurants and strengthening its presence across North India.
More growth in Delhi and central kitchen development
Desi Cooks added 3 new restaurants in Delhi, taking the total to 12 restaurants, and established a central kitchen to maintain one taste, one quality, and one standards across all outlets.

Started frozen food production
Desi Cooks entered the frozen food industry, launching Soya Chaap production (1 ton/day) and French Fries production (2 tons/day). With a 2,300 sq. m. facility, we also began supplying products across North India.
Machinery upgrade and wider market supply
We upgraded our machinery and production processes, expanding supply to Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Mumbai while gaining deeper insights into larger markets, distribution networks, and customer expectations.

Fully automatic French fries plant
We transformed our facility into a fully automated French fries production plant with a capacity of 2 tons per hour, spread across 10 acres, ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety, quality, and consistency.
Expanding Across Borders
Lazito has built a strong presence across Pan India and proudly exports to Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and many more countries delivering premium quality and exceptional taste beyond borders.
